so what's new. just been working, feeling a bit neurotic. I think it's rubbing off from working at Emergent. but it's strange cause i really enjoy the mental/physical torment of working in a high-stress design office. something about it.

been working for EMERGENT

i've been working for my professor's office : emergent  (emergentarchitecture.com)

besides 12 hr work days and 7 day work weeks, i've been learning a lot about the research|design of the firm and also my own potential. 

will be leaving for Seoul this week for the Seoul Design Olympiad 2009 at the olympic stadium. my boss is sending me there to oversee our installation at the architecture exhibition.. 

designers of all areas will be arriving. car, furniture, appliance, fashion, architecture, graphic design of the top designers from around the world will be showcased. 

So yea, that's what i've been working on... basically in charge of the installation... will have photos up when i'm back. umm biggest frustration: working from overseas... biggest reward: working from overseas..

 in ordos, china someone has the balls to do something great.

100 top architects are being chosen to design a house each in a 100 lot neighborhood in rising city Ordos. 

i'm currently doing research and scenario planning for the city so more information regarding this interesting developing city soon.

cudi's lyrics in this track made some real sense to me today. although so much was felt to be unfortunate, i consider it a privilege to have experienced some messed up times. it wasn't until after it all that i felt real strength knowing life can get no worse than worst and that eventually good times will begin to peek through again... no reason to slow and stall, but all the reason to keep moving on... homie.
